Job summary

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is seeking an Asset Manager to support maintenance and renewal programmes across the state highway network. You will analyse asset information, validate programmes through field inspections and guide investment decisions that deliver safety, performance and value-for-money outcomes.

Qualifications

• You will have a strong foundation in transport infrastructure or asset management.
• You can translate complex technical information into practical maintenance programmes.
• You have knowledge of pavement engineering and highway surface data.
• You have experience developing maintenance or renewal programmes.
• You communicate clearly with stakeholders and manage relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate maintenance and renewal programmes.
• Analyse network and pavement condition data.
• Conduct inspections and field validation activities.
• Manage asset data quality and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve network performance and maintenance outcomes.
• Provide technical advice on land use developments and stakeholder matters.
