Job summary

Busck Prestressed Concrete is seeking reliable Labourers for our brand-new Prestress and Precast site in Ashburton. This hands-on role supports our growing team with training provided and long-term employment opportunities.

You'll prepare and set out precast formwork, place reinforcing steel, pour and finish concrete, demould and store products. No travel between sites; join a stable, safety‑minded team focused on quality and career development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set out precast formwork according to Busck guidelines.
• Place reinforcing steel cages and cast in items.
• Pour and finish concrete into formwork.
• Demould product when cured and ensure it is ready for lifting and storage.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our team at our brand-new, purpose-built Prestress and Precast Concrete site in Ashburton.

About the role

This is a hands‑on role working as part of our Prestress and Precast Concrete team. Your duties may include:

• Prepare and set out precast formwork to Busck guidelines, ensuring it matches the plans provided ready for concrete pour.
• Place reinforcing steel cages and cast in items
• Pour and finish concrete into formwork to Busck guidelines.
• Demould product when cured, check/clean cast in items, and ensure product is ready for lifting and storage.

Experience in construction, concrete, manufacturing, or a similar environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
