Job summary

Bethlehem College invites applications for a Secondary Art teacher (Years 7–15) to join the Art Department. The successful applicant must be certificated and capable of teaching up to Year 13, with a solid understanding of the NZ curriculum and NZQA framework.

Applicants must have an active personal Christian faith and be willing to participate in religious instruction in line with the school’s character, as a condition of appointment. Employment is conditional on NZ Teacher Registration.

Qualifications

  • Must have thorough understanding of the New Zealand curriculum and NZQA framework.
  • Experience and proven ability to teach up to Year 13.
  • Active personal Christian faith and willingness to participate in religious instruction as per Bethlehem College’s character.

Applications are open for a positive, enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our Art Department. The successful applicant must have Experience and proven ability to teach up to Year 13. Must have a thorough understanding of the New Zealand curriculum and the NZQA framework.

Applicants are required to have an active personal Christian faith and a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of Bethlehem College shall be a condition of appointment, as provided for in the school’s Integration Agreement and Schedule 6, Clause 47 of the Education and Training Act 2020.

Please note: Employment is conditional on NZ Teacher Registration.
