Job summary

Domino's New Zealand is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the operational performance, profitability, and leadership of multiple Domino's branches across the Tasman and South Island region. You will drive sales growth, maintain premium product quality, and coach Store Managers to build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities include ensuring brand and safety compliance, conducting site audits, leading in peak periods, and managing regional budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of multi-site management in a QSR, hospitality, or fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience budgeting, inventory, and reviewing financial statements.
• Strong coaching, conflict resolution, and communication abilities.
• Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across Tasman and South Island.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Conduct regular site audits across regional stores to monitor product quality and delivery performance.
• Lead from the front during peak periods or operational gaps.
• Set and manage regional sales targets, labour budgets, and cost-control initiatives.
• Review monthly P&L statements with Store Managers to optimize store profitability.
• Implement local store marketing strategies to drive customer retention and order volume.
• Recruit, mentor, and train Store Managers and shifts supervisors.
• Build a positive, fast-paced work culture centred on team engagement and retention.
• Ensure proper roster scheduling and workforce balancing across all locations.
• Guarantee the delivery of "5-star service, every order, every time".
• Troubleshoot system issues and manage critical customer escalations across the area.

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of multi-site or relevant management experience within a
Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), hospitality, or fast-paced retail environment.

• Proven track record of managing budgets, inventory, and reviewing financialstatements.
• Strong coaching, conflict resolution, and communication abilities.
• Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence or equivalent and willingness to travel extensively across the Tasman and South Island stores.
• Ability to work varied hours, including late nights, weekends, and publicholidays in line with store trade patterns.
