Job description

About Saint Kentigern

At Saint Kentigern, we offer a unique educational experience - a learning journey that begins in Preschool and continues through to college. For more than seven decades we've inspired students to strive for excellence while staying true to our core values: respect, integrity, service, excellence, and love. We believe in the power of young people to make a positive contribution to the world, and we know that educational excellence flourishes when it's supported by strong partnerships with business, community, and alumni.

The role

The Archivist Officer is responsible for the management, preservation, governance, and activation of Saint Kentigern’s archival collections (physical and digital). This role also ensures that all archival activities comply with the NZ Privacy Act 2020, Saint Kentigern’s Privacy Policy, Data Governance Policy, and all associated information-handling and security requirements.

Beyond preservation, you will help activate our collections, making history accessible, engaging, and relevant for future generations while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our digital archives.
