The Salvation Army Heritage Centre and Archives in Wellington is seeking an Assistant Archivist, Access and Research to provide access, respond to enquiries, and record research requests within the Archives Access Team.
Key tasks include documenting enquiries, arranging archives to ISAD standards, maintaining confidential records, updating the website and social media, and presenting talks on archival matters; the role is fixed term, full time (37.5 hours/week) with a salary between NZ$62,995.92

To provide access, respond, research and record enquiries to the Archives Access Team in particular dealing with Confidential Enquiries.
To assist in documenting the records associated with confidential enquires including Arrangement & Description tasks under the direction of the Territorial Archivist.

This role is Fixed Term/full timeandhours worked will be 37.5 hours per week. Mon-Fri 8.30am-4.30pm (30 min unpaid lunch break).
The starting salary for this role will fallbetween $62995.92 and $65593.71
The starting hourly rate for this role will fall between $32.30 and $33.63.
