Job summary

You will work with senior stakeholders to align IT strategy with the University's goals, ensuring a future-ready digital environment that supports teaching, research and operations.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced architecture leader with formal people leadership of technical specialists.
• Deep expertise in architecture frameworks (TOGAF), governance, and technology strategy.
• You translate complex concepts into clear, practical direction and communicate with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four architects to shape University's technology future.
• Own architecture governance and design standards across a connected digital estate.
• Stay hands-on as Senior Solution Architect on complex, strategic projects.
• Translate strategy into practical architecture direction and guide investment decisions.
• Ensure alignments of solutions with institutional goals and Te Tiriti o Waitangi considerations.
