Truckstops Nelson, a subsidiary of Truck Stops (NZ) Ltd, is seeking an Apprentice Heavy Diesel Technician. You’ll learn alongside experienced technicians to service, maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy trucks and commercial vehicles in a busy Nelson workshop.

Through the MITO apprenticeship, you’ll work toward a nationally recognised qualification in Heavy Automotive Engineering while gaining hands-on experience and building a career with real growth opportunities.

Formación

• A positive, can-do attitude.
• A genuine interest in mechanics, trucks, and how things work.
• NCEA Level 2 or equivalent, including Maths and English.
• The commitment and self-discipline required to complete your MITO studies.
• New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
• A Full or Restricted Driver Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Learn alongside experienced technicians and develop the skills to service, maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy commercial vehicles.
• Work towards a nationally recognised qualification in Heavy Automotive Engineering while gaining hands-on experience in a busy workshop environment.
