The Warehouse Group is hiring for an Apparel Team Member in Lower Hutt. This full-time role includes afternoon and weekend shifts, with duties focused on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining appealing displays, and restocking merchandise to ensure shelves are filled and organized for customers.

You will help customers with queries, keep the apparel area tidy, and promote a positive shopping experience while learning the department layout and product placements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role would be beneficial, but not required.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and some heavy lifting.

Job Description

Te kaupapa o te tūranga - The purpose of the role.

This is a full-time position with the following hours of work:

• Thursday: 1:00pm - 9:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am - 2:00pm

Our Apparel department is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for fashion and a commitment to exceptional customer service to join our team! In this role, you will assist customers with their queries, ensure the department maintains visual appeal by creating attractive displays, and arrange merchandise effectively.

Leveraging your knowledge of the department’s layout, you will ensure that any gaps are promptly filled with the appropriate products.

Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial, but it’s not a requirement. Ideally you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and undertaking some heavy lifting
