A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Registered Nurse for an AOD rehabilitation program in West Auckland. The role involves providing compassionate nursing care, overseeing health issues, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor of Nursing, current NZ Nursing Registration, and experience in AOD settings. Join a committed team focused on cultural safety and individual recovery.
Are you passionate about supporting people on their journey of recovery from addiction? Do you want to use your clinical expertise in a community where your work truly matters?
Our client is a charitable trust based in West Auckland, and they are seeking a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) rehabilitation to join their kaupapa.
Their mission is to provide tools for transformational change to those affected by severe addiction—supporting individual and whānau recovery while reducing the harm addiction causes in communities and society. They offer a high-quality, culturally responsive, abstinence-based programme grounded in the Therapeutic Community model.
As an AOD Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of residents in a therapeutic programme.
You are a Registered Nurse who is grounded, resilient, and inspired to support people on their recovery journey. You bring a trauma-informed, respectful approach and are comfortable working cross-culturally.
You’ll join a deeply committed team working in a values-driven, inclusive environment where every person is treated with dignity, care, and compassion. They are supportive of your professional development and offer the opportunity to make a real difference every day.
If you're ready to use your clinical skills to support healing and whānau wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you.
