We're looking for an experienced AML/CFT Analytics Manager to lead a highly skilled analytics team and play a critical role in strengthening our financial crime detection and monitoring capabilities.
As AML/CFT Analytics Manager, you'll lead a team of approximately 13 analytics professionals responsible for the delivery and ongoing enhancement of Westpac's AML/CFT and Sanctions detection, monitoring and reporting capabilities. You'll combine strategic leadership with deep analytical expertise to ensure our monitoring controls remain effective, risk-based and aligned to evolving threats and regulatory expectations.
Working as part of the Financial Crime Intelligence & Insights leadership team, you'll influence key decisions, drive continuous improvement and help shape the future of financial crime analytics across the organisation.
We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded people leader who can build high-performing teams, drive results and create a culture of continuous improvement. While experience in AML/CFT, financial crime, banking, risk management or analytics would be highly regarded, we recognise that strong leadership capability is the key to success in this role. We encourage applications from experienced leaders who may not have a direct financial crime or analytics background but have demonstrated success leading specialist teams, influencing stakeholders and delivering outcomes.
