Job summary

Employer Sponsored Jobs in New Zealand is seeking experienced aluminium fabricators to measure, cut, machine and assemble aluminium window and door products in a structured manufacturing environment in Taranaki.

You will need a minimum of 12 months of practical aluminium fabrication experience, hands-on skills with fabrication tools and machinery, the ability to measure, cut and assemble accurately, and the physical capability to lift items over 20 kg.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of practical aluminium fabrication experience.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication tools and machinery.
• Ability to measure, cut, drill and assemble components accurately.
• Ability to work safely with manufacturing equipment.
• Understanding of production and quality-control processes.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble aluminium window and door products.
• Measure materials and components accurately before production.
• Use workshop saws and machines to cut aluminium and timber.
• Drill and punch components per production requirements.
• Install glass and wedge units during assembly.
• Check finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare completed units for dispatch and delivery.
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and responsibly.
