Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to support therapists and care teams across hospital, residential care, home, and outpatient settings in Queenstown. You will work with clients and whānau to deliver interventions and rehabilitation plans, helping people regain independence and remain living at home.

The role is suited for proactive individuals who enjoy teamwork, are reliable, and willing to learn new skills. Weekend work may be required.

  • Salary $73,876 - $88,887 per annum pro rata + Kiwisaver

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Allied Health Assistant to join us. In this role, you will provide therapy input and support for patients across a variety of settings, including hospital, residential care, in their own homes and outpatient settings.

Working closely with clients and their whānau, you will assist occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech-language therapists, nurses, and social workers to deliver interventions and rehabilitation plans. Your work will help people regain independence and remain living in their own homes for longer.
