About the role

Manaia Seafood Eatery is seeking passionate and experienced Waiters to join our team in our Penrose Branch, Auckland location. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience. This is a Part-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming customers, and escorting them to their tables
• Providing prompt and attentive table service, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients and daily specials
• Handling cash and card payments efficiently and accurately
• Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards
• Actively contributing to a positive team environment and providing excellent customer service

What we\'re looking for

• Previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including food safety and hygiene practices
• A positive, energetic and team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
