Avis Budget Group is seeking a qualified Mechanic to join the Christchurch team at Christchurch Airport. This full-time role involves servicing and maintaining a fleet, performing minor repairs, and ensuring safety and compliance.

The position offers 40-hour weeks with 4 x 10-hour shifts, based at the airport with staff parking. Required are a Trade qualification in Motor Mechanics (Level 4+), a full NZ driver's license (including manual), and experience with petrol and diesel engines.

Formación

• Full NZ driver's license including manual vehicles.
• Trade qualification in Motor Mechanics (Level 4 minimum).
• Experience with petrol and diesel motors.
• Good communications skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilidades

• Servicing vehicles per manufacturer specifications and company standards, including minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Monitor inventory and request parts from Service Administrator.
• Assemble mechanical components per specifications and perform diagnostic tests.
• Provide assistance to colleagues and complete repair orders.
• Prepare vehicles for handback and sales; ensure safe workshop practices.
