Placements24 is seeking an innovative AI Product Manager to drive the development and launch of AI products in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, working with engineering, design, and marketing to bring AI-powered solutions to market.

The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, has a track record of managing complex products from concept to commercialization, and can lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management with a focus on AI/ML products.
• Proven experience in defining product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, capabilities, and limitations.
• Experience with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI products.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities.
• Translate strategy into detailed requirements and user stories for the engineering team.
• Prioritize backlog and manage development sprints with engineering leads.
• Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive product interfaces.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and collaborate with marketing and sales for launches.
