Fusion5 is seeking an experienced AI Knowledge Engineer to turn domain knowledge into structured, trusted context for AI agents. You will work with domain experts and engineers to model how businesses operate and to engineer knowledge agents that interpret information and support decisions.
You’ll design ontologies and semantic models, establish mappings and governance, and ensure production-ready context across our Applied Intelligence practice. Knowledge of Neo4j and related tools is valued.
Help shape the knowledge foundations behind intelligent AI agents.
At Fusion5, our Applied Intelligence team helps customers move beyond AI experimentation to agents that do real work in production. We’re looking for an experienced AI Knowledge Engineer who can turn complex business knowledge into structured, trusted context that AI agents can actually use.
You’re a hands‑on knowledge engineer with strong experience in ontology, knowledge graph and semantic modelling within complex enterprise environments. You understand entity relationships, source mappings, metadata, retrieval and data governance, and can confidently work with business experts to turn domain knowledge into practical models.
Experience with technologies such as Neo4j, Microsoft Fabric IQ, Databricks Genie Ontology, Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation or Atlan would be valuable, along with knowledge of Cypher, SPARQL, GQL, RDF, OWL or SHACL. An understanding of how LLM agents use grounding, retrieval and context is key.
“Go Beyond” isn't a marketing line at Fusion5, it's the standard we hold ourselves to. It reflects how we bring together solutions, services, and capability to help clients realise their business vision, with AI as a strategic lever for meaningful transformation.
At Fusion5, you’ll have the autonomy to influence solution direction, the backing of an established trans‑Tasman organisation, and the opportunity to work alongside people who care deeply about outcomes, accountability, and doing the right thing for clients.
We're proud to be a diverse, inclusive, and forward-thinking employer, and we're committed to creating a workplace where our people feel engaged, challenged, supported, and successful.
