Job summary

FUREIN INTERNATIONAL TRADING LTD in Auckland seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of a new mobile B2B ordering platform and supply chain integration. This hands-on role requires strong architectural leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery of enterprise mobile apps and backend services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in mobile app development, with iOS focus.
• Proven architecture design and end-to-end delivery experience.
• Proficiency in Swift/Objective-C and iOS frameworks.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and ERP/WMS.
• Strong problem solving, mentoring, and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; NZ visa eligibility.
• Experience in retail, supermarket, or supply chain systems.
• Knowledge of B2B e-commerce or ordering platforms.
• Familiar with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines; cross-platform knowledge a plus.

We are developing a mobile B2B ordering platform integrated with our ERP/WMS systems to streamline wholesale ordering and fulfilment.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of our new mobile B2B ordering platform and supply chain integration system. This is a hands‑on role that requires strong technical leadership, architecture design skills, and the ability to deliver complex enterprise mobile applications.

You will work closely with our operations, sales, and IT teams to build a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform that streamlines ordering, inventory visibility, and order fulfilment for our B2B customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile applications (iOS and cross‑platform) and backend services for our B2B ordering platform.
• Lead the architecture design and technical implementation of the platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Integrate the platform with existing ERP, WMS, and third‑party APIs.
• Work closely with management and business teams to define requirements and deliver high‑quality features.
• Optimise application performance, user experience, and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and product quality.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on mobile application development (iOS essential).
• Proven experience in software architecture design, module ownership, and end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Swift/Objective‑C and familiarity with iOS frameworks.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs, databases, and enterprise systems (ERP/WMS preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Experience with code review, mentoring, and team leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand (we are an Accredited Employer and can support visa applications for the right candidate).
• Experience in retail, supermarket, or supply chain systems.
• Knowledge of B2B e‑commerce or ordering platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cross‑platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
