Propellerhead Limited in Auckland is seeking an experienced Systems Reliability Engineer to join the engineering team. You will work within an AI-assisted delivery pipeline to design, automate, and optimize cloud deployments on Azure, balancing reliability with cost and performance.

You’ll lead CI/CD efforts, on-call support, and incident response while collaborating with core development teams to implement scalable, secure solutions that are easy to maintain.

Competenze

• Agentic-first: comfortable using AI to diagnose, script, automate and document in an AI-assisted delivery pipeline.
• Experience developing scalable web applications and cloud deployments.
• Proficient in scripting languages and automation to reduce manual tasks.

Mansioni

• Design cloud deployment architectures on Azure.
• Provision deployment environments including servers, services and networking; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Ensure security, scalability, supportability and performance in solution architectures.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automation with chosen toolsets.
• Carry out automated and scheduled software releases with development teams.
• Configure monitoring, alerting tools and integrate with support systems.
• Assist with incident triage, troubleshooting and post-incident reviews.
• Document architecture and configurations; share knowledge across teams.
