Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers is seeking an experienced account leader to manage digital and media-led campaigns end-to-end. You’ll own client relationships, shape briefs, and ensure timely delivery with a clear, costed plan.
In this senior, permanent role, you’ll work across Media, Marketing and Creative leads, report to the Client Services Director, and thrive on turning performance data into client-ready insights. Hybrid work in Auckland or Wellington is available.
We're a seven-year-old full service agency of about twelve people across Auckland and Wellington. One week we're selling concert tickets, the next we're launching cars, filling school open days and convincing the country it needs another coffee. We're into big ideas, sharp briefs and clients who turn into fans.
You'll be the person our clients trust most. You'll own a set of digital and media led accounts end to end: the relationship, the thinking, the brief, and getting great work out the door. This is real ownership and a real seat at the table, not a coordinator gig.
The best bit happens up front. You sit down with a client, ask the questions nobody else thought to ask, and walk out with a point of view. Behind you is a crew of Media, Marketing and Creative leads who've got your back on the big calls. You'll report to our Client Services Director.
Being the go-to for your clients, and knowing their business well enough to be useful, not just responsive
Cracking the real problem, then shaping the plan across channels
Writing briefs our teams love working from: clear, costed and honest about the goal
Getting work flowing through Media, Marketing and Creative, and keeping it flowing
Keeping things commercially tidy: quote first, PO first, every change logged
Turning performance results into a story your clients can act on
Running WIPs people actually want to turn up to
You've done agency account management on digital and media led work
You can read a media plan and spot when it doesn't answer the brief
You know the platforms well enough to hold your own in the room
You're comfortable with performance data and enjoy translating it
You write a cracking brief (we'll ask)
You can talk scope and money without flinching
You're organised in a way everyone can see
Low ego, straight talking, and you'd rather flag a problem early than hope it goes away
A real account role where your thinking shapes the work
Clients across entertainment, auto, education, food and beverage, and government
Hybrid, with two days from home each week, in Auckland or Wellington
Friday morning tea with the crew
Permanent, full time, mid to senior. In the interview we'll ask you to walk us through a campaign you shaped and the questions you asked to get there.
