Job summary

Summerset Prebbleton village, part of Summerset Holdings, is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead clinical care for residents in a premium aged care setting. You will deliver high-quality, resident-directed care and work with a dedicated team to enhance residents’ quality of life.

The role involves managing care plans, conducting clinical assessments, and mentoring caregivers during a rotating 4-on/2-off schedule across morning, afternoon, or night shifts.

Qualifications

• NZ Registration and Practising Certificate required.
• Experience with aged care residents considered an advantage.
• Strong communication and bedside manner essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and holistic care to residents.
• Lead nursing assessments and care planning.
• Assume charge on shifts and make clinical decisions.
• Coordinate with families to support residents’ quality of life.
• Mentor and guide care staff on shifts.
