Job summary

Metlifecare's Gulf Rise Village in Red Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. The role offers 24 hours per week across three shifts from Monday to Wednesday, with start times from 6.45 am to 3.15 pm, and provides the opportunity to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a supportive retirement village.

Qualifications

• Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
• Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
• Up to date knowledge of wound care management
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
• You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.

Responsibilities

• Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Work collaboratively with other team members
