Job summary

New Zealand Post Group is seeking a Processing Officer at Taupō to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels for delivery. The role includes forklift operation for up to six hours per shift, with a focus on health and safety and accuracy in handling goods.

Working Monday to Friday from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, you will contribute to efficient parcel movement and customer service, while being part of a stable, government-owned postal network in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Availability to work Monday to Friday 2.30pm–5.30pm
• Forklift OSH certification and/or F Endorsed Drivers licence
• Commitment to safety and teamwork
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg
• Good geographical knowledge and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Taupō site
• Operate forklift for up to 6 hours per shift
• Support couriers with timely deliveries
• Maintain a safe and efficient workspace
