Job summary

NZ Recruit in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for the afternoon shift on a six-month contract. This on-site role involves loading/unloading trucks, moving pallets, and using scanners in a busy warehouse environment.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 4:00pm to midnight, with overtime paid at time and a half and an 8% holiday pay entitlement. A current OSH forklift certificate and eligibility to work in New Zealand are essential.

Qualifications

• Current OSH forklift certificate
• Proven forklift operating experience, strong experience loading and unloading trucks
• Confidence using scanners and warehouse systems
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently
• Current legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including drug testing, Ministry of Justice and ACC checks
• Two contactable work references
