Job summary

George Weston Foods in North Shore, North Island, NZ, is seeking Production Operators for the Afternoon Shift. The role is full-time and hands-on, operating a range of equipment to keep production safe, efficient, and up to a high standard within a bakery setting.

You will set up, operate, and clean production machinery, handle food products with care, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace. Prior production experience is preferred; HACCP experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or manufacturing; food industry experience is a bonus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Good numeracy, reading and writing skills.
• Team-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience with food safety systems such as HACCP (desirable).
• Ability to stay calm under pressure while maintaining quality.
• The right to work in New Zealand.
• Some roles may require a Forklift and Reach Truck licence.
