Job summary

Corporate Hygiene in the Albany area of Auckland is seeking After Hours/Evening Commercial Cleaners. You will perform routine and specialised cleaning tasks in offices and medical centres, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces.

The role requires reliability for after-hours work, physical stamina, and a professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues. Training is provided, and travel across the wider Auckland area may be needed.

Qualifications

• Willing to work outside business hours.
• No prior cleaning experience required; training provided.
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Able to lift/move objects, bend and stand for long periods.
• Maintain professional demeanor with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialised cleaning tasks in commercial settings (offices, medical centres).
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors.
• Sanitising and disinfecting surfaces, including high-touch areas.
• Emptying rubbish and recycling bins, and replacing liners.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
• Handling and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors.

After Hours/ Evening Commercial Cleaners

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialised cleaning tasks in commercial settings, such as offices, medical centres, and more.
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors.
• Sanitising and disinfecting surfaces, including high‑touch areas.
• Emptying rubbish and recycling bins, and replacing liners.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
• Handling and maintaining personal cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.

What we’re looking for

• Ability to clean outside of business hours.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience is welcome, but definitely not required – training is provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Comfort travelling across the wider Auckland area for different clients.
