Job summary

Rocket Lab's Neutron team seeks a Thermofluids Analyst based in Auckland, NZ. You will own internal thermodynamics and fluids modelling across Electron and Neutron vehicles, performing CFD, heat transfer simulations, and design guidelines for aerospace systems.

You’ll work closely with design and test engineers to iterate concepts, meet deadlines, and support payload integration while advancing spaceflight technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or similar field.
• 1+ years industry experience, ideally in Aerospace/Automotive/Marine.
• Strong physics and first-principles approach to problems.

Responsibilities

• Own propellant delivery and management, including CFD of internal fluid systems.
• Design RCS systems, including budget and flow modelling of valves and lines.
• Perform heat transfer simulations and develop design guidelines.
