A leading educational institution located in Porirua, Wellington is seeking an Advisor - Tauira Recruitment to support and promote student recruitment for its diverse range of tertiary education programmes. Candidates should have substantial marketing experience, a clean driver's license, and a willingness to engage with Māori culture. Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing or student recruitment.
  • Full clean New Zealand Drivers Licence.
  • Willingness to develop te reo Māori knowledge.

Overview

Fixed term, full-time position (37.5 hours per week).

Flexibility to work after hours and weekends will be required.

Located in Porirua, Wellington.

As an Advisor - Tauira Recruitment, you’ll be promoting, supporting and contributing to regional annual student recruitment targets by attracting students to the wide range of tertiary education programmes we deliver.

Responsibilities
  • Present and promote TWoA programmes and services to external stakeholders and communities.
  • Develop and implement student recruitment plans, projects and campaigns.
  • Use CRM as a student recruitment tool.
  • Host programmes, activities and events.
  • Support kaiako to roll-out plans.

About you

We\'re looking for someone who has the following:

  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing, student recruitment or in an education related role.
  • Understands and uses basic te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings.
  • Prepared to increase knowledge, understanding and everyday use of te reo and āhuatanga Māori and support other kaimahi in the same endeavour
  • Full clean New Zealand Drivers Licence
  • Diploma in business or marketing related field would be ideal.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
