The opportunity:

  • As an Enterprise Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of these clients. You will form part of a team that builds trusted relationships and with training and support provide insights that drive decisions and guide critical transitions, supporting not just business operations, but the ambitious families and entrepreneurs behind them. You will get to work alongside other like minded professionals who are focused on privately owned business but also be connected to the broader KPMG expertise in other service lines.

Day to day you will:

  • Cultivate strong client relationships and maintain regular communication, working in partnership with and being an integral part to our client’s successful finance operations.
  • Leading, supporting and managing our client specific Finance Operations (FinOps) teams (2 – 5 people per team) to leverage the designed operations, outputs, filings and insight for our clients.
  • Drive a finance function that is value adding to our clients by ensuring robust controls, procedures and processing, facilitating insight and confidence in the numbers.
  • Being a part of a team that assists clients with a variety of financial deliverables; including management reporting, cash flow forecasts, provisional tax, GST, FBT, bookkeeping and much more.
  • Engage with clients to understand their challenges and offer solutions, including providing assistance where required with business tools, such as Xero, Taxlab and Excel. Suggesting operational efficiencies and changes we and our clients can adopt.
  • Utilise AI tools to efficiently deliver the best outcomes for clients and create efficient processes.
  • Effectively manage your time and prioritise various deliverables by communicating with key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Managing clients and being part of larger assignments under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Participate in team dynamics and contribute to knowledge sharing.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 3-5 years of experience of running or being in finance function team (inhouse or externally outsourced provider). Any tax, business advisory experience a bonus.
  • A proactive, client-focused mindset dedicated to achieving deadlines and deliverables and driving business growth and innovation.
  • Strong analytical ability to transform data into strategic insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at engaging a diverse range of clients.
  • Commitment to enhancing your technical knowledge and thriving within a dynamic team environment.
  • Fosters strong team dynamics, has fun and brings all their personality to work.
