A leading financial institution in Tauranga is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance the delivery of high-quality financial advice. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in financial services, excellent communication skills, and experience with regulatory compliance. This role focuses on guiding and supporting advisers, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards. Offers include generous leave and growth opportunities.
The Advice Quality & Governance Team plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial advice to Westpac's customers and staff. As a trusted business partner and subject matter experts, you’ll work closely with Wealth Office Advisers, Wealth Consultants, and the Leadership Team to provide timely guidance, training, and support. To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a collaborative and strategic thinker who can drive business outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of advice quality and governance.
Your key responsibilities include reviewing and quality-assuring financial advice documents to ensure they meet regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal business rules. You will also provide specialist input on complex customer situations, write and peer-review advice documents, and engage in additional workstreams that add value to the advice process. The focus on quality, governance, and collaboration enables Westpac to deliver exceptional financial advice and services to our customers.
