Te Tūranga | The Role

You will get to provide support and input into how we achieve effective regulation of conduct in the banking and non-bank deposit taking sectors. You will also be assessing sector risks and entity performance and engaging with market participants.There is lots of room to grow and learn.

He kōrero mōu | About you

Ideally you will have previous exposure to non-financial risk management and analysis or come from a line 1 or line 2 risk role.We’ll be keen for you to show us why you're motivated by fair consumer treatment and how you've put fair consumer outcomes first in your previous roles.

You'll also bring great relationship building skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels. We'll support you as you apply your natural curiosity and critical thinking skills to your work at the FMA.

You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. At FMA a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
