Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Kenepuru Community Hospital in Porirua, Wellington, currently seeks an Advanced Physiotherapist (Falls) to join the Kenepuru Community ORA team. You will work with interdisciplinary colleagues to support older adults, lead quality improvements, and champion falls prevention across community services.

The role requires registration with NZ Physiotherapy Board, 5+ years of clinical practice, and demonstrated leadership in quality improvement, with

Qualifications

Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current APC.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice.
Leadership and quality improvement experience.
Neurological and Older Persons health experience (Vestibular experience desirable).

Responsibilities

Assessment, management and intervention within the community physiotherapy service.
Inter-professional care of the at risk elderly in the community who are frail and clients on rehabilitation and compensatory support pathways.
Lead quality improvement activities to develop and improve clinical services within Community ORA.
Mentor and support rotational and experienced physiotherapists.
Clinically supervise undergraduate physiotherapy students.
