Part-Time Admin & Accounts Assistant 📍 Christchurch | Flexible hours | Growing businesses
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused person to help keep our businesses running smoothly. This is a hands on role where you’ll be trusted to keep things organised, up to date, and spot what needs doing before it becomes urgent.
What you’ll be doing
- Reconciling accounts in Xero across multiple companies
- Preparing 20th-of-month payments & supplier reconciliations
- Managing emails & supplier communications
- Entering data into Motorcentral (vehicle sales system)
- Keeping everything tidy for accurate day-to-day reporting
- Supporting the owner with general admin and being a safe pair of hands when they’re away
What we’re looking for
- Experience with Xero (must-have)
- Confident with numbers and detail
- Strong organisational skills — you like things being neat and on time
- Good initiative — you don’t wait to be told what’s next
- Professional but friendly communication style
- Reliable and trustworthy
