Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Whakatāne is seeking a Registered Social Worker to deliver a professional social work service within the Allied Health Acute Service, addressing vulnerability, safety, health and disability, and grief and loss.

You will undertake comprehensive assessments, provide case management with the multidisciplinary team, and support clients and whānau through challenging moments, upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Formación

• Must be a New Zealand Registered Social Worker with an annual practicing certificate.
• Experience in health sector with vulnerable clients or families.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide social work assessments and case management in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
• Support clients and whānau through periods of vulnerability, health challenges and grief.
• Uphold ethical practice and cultural safety, including Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
