Job summary

nib is hiring an Actuary – Financial Reporting to support accurate actuarial reporting for private health insurance. You will help with month-end processes, liability valuation, capital and solvency analysis and regulatory reporting, under guidance from senior team members.

You should have 3–5 years of actuarial experience, an Associate qualification or progress towards Fellowship, and strong financial modelling and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant actuarial experience and an Associate qualification or progress towards Fellowship
• Strong financial, capital and regulatory reporting experience with advanced Excel
• Programming, data manipulation or automation skills (SQL, Python, R, VBA) to improve efficiency and reliability

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of accurate and timely actuarial reporting for private health insurance
• Assist with month-end reporting, liability valuation, capital and solvency analysis
• Prepare actuarial advice and documentation and collaborate with stakeholders across actuarial, finance and others
