A leading aged care provider in New Zealand is looking for an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Coordinator and engage with residents through creative activities. Ideal candidates should have a passion for improving resident lives, outstanding communication skills, and may hold a certification in Diversional Therapy. This casual position offers flexible hours with no guaranteed weekly hours, promoting a friendly and stimulating environment.

This is a Casual position, hence, there are no guaranteed weekly hours.
In this role, you will be supporting the Activities Coordinator, identifying the leisure activity needs of each of the St Kilda Care Home residents based on their interests, preferences, and abilities and contribute to the planning and implementation of individual and group activities programmes.
