Job summary

Oceania Meadowbank Village in Meadowbank is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team on a full-time and part-time basis, helping to create engaging programmes for residents.

You’ll work with our Diversional Therapist to plan varied activities, support resident participation, and uphold safety and care standards in a welcoming community setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in planning and coordinating activities
• Great people skills with empathy for the elderly
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• A vibrant and energetic personality
• Flexible multitasking skills
• Willingness to work over the weekends
• All applicants must have full working rights in New Zealand

• Working closely with our Diversional Therapist to create and implement fun and varied activities programmes for our residents
• Understanding residents’ needs and abilities and encouraging them to take part in activities
• Following our company policies and procedures to create a safe environment for our residents.

• A clean NZ drivers’ licence
• Flexible multitasking skills
• The flexibility to work over the weekends.
