Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Gisborne Hospital is seeking a fixed-term Pre & Post-Operative ACNM in the Perioperative Department. This designated nursing role provides day-to-day operational and clinical leadership across the Day of Surgery Unit and Pre-Admission Clinic.

• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a practising certificate.
• NZQA Postgraduate Diploma (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of recent clinical experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong clinical knowledge in surgical, perioperative, or acute care settings.
• Proven ability to lead and support colleagues in a clinical environment.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem solving skills.

About the Role

An exciting fixed-term opportunity has arisen for a Pre & Post-Operative ACNM, Perioperative Department. This designated nursing role provides day-to-day operational and clinical leadership across the Day of Surgery Unit, Pre-Admission Clinic and is a key member of the Perioperative Leadership Team. Working in partnership with clinical and operational leaders, the role supports the delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centred care across the perioperative pathway.

About you

• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current practising certificate
