Job Title: Accounts Receivable Team Leader

We are seeking an exceptional Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join our finance team on a fixed-term contract. If you are a hands-on leader who excels at driving team performance and delivering results, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

About the role

As our AR Team Leader, you will oversee the invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation processes, lead and develop a high-performing team, and actively participate in daily operations. Your proactive approach will support cash flow, maintain strong customer relationships, and uphold financial integrity.

Key responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily AR operations, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  2. Prepare and review reports such as aged receivables and cash forecasts.
  3. Implement process improvements for efficiency.
  4. Lead, coach, and develop the AR team.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams for seamless billing experiences.
  6. Support audits, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.
  7. Uphold Stuff’s values on health, safety, sustainability, and inclusion.
About you

You are an experienced AR professional, comfortable leading a team and hands-on when necessary. You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and pride yourself on accuracy and customer service. You will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control, including leadership.
  • Strong understanding of billing, collections, and reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • A commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative spirit and passion for developing people.

Bonus points for experience in media, publishing, or digital services industries.
