Overview

Join a purpose-driven finance team making a real impact in the lives of learners across the Manawatū, Whanganui, Wairarapa, and Horowhenua regions. UCOL is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounts Receivable Officer to support our student and customer billing processes. As one of three AR Officers, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team that keeps our financial systems running smoothly and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and overdue payment follow-ups
  • Support the administration of student loans, allowances, and billing activities
  • Respond to internal financial queries and help coordinate course material charges
  • Ensure compliance with Tertiary Education Commission funding guidelines and the Privacy Act
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to students, staff, and external stakeholders.
About You
  • 4+ years’ experience in accounts receivable (education sector experience a plus)
  • Level 4 qualification or higher preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with high emotional intelligence
  • You’ll also need a full NZ driver’s licence and a clean criminal and credit history.
