Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Auckland invites you to join their Summer 2027 Internship Programme, running November 2027 to February 2028. You’ll gain real-world accounting experience, work on meaningful client projects and participate in structured development opportunities across advisory, audit, and tax pathways.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of university
• Majoring in accounting
• Plan to become Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ or CPA pathway)
• Ideally have part-time work experience, volunteer experience or involvement in extracurricular activities
• Have the right to work in New Zealand
• Bring initiative, adaptability and strong analytical skills; ability to embrace technology, think critically and communicate effectively

Intern pathways and opportunities

Our internship programme runs November 2027 to February 2028 and offers two pathways:

• Business advisory and audit rotation - Complete two six-week rotations across these service lines to experience both areas before deciding which suits you best for your future as a graduate.
• Tax - Spend your entire internship in our Tax team, gaining specialised knowledge and skills.

Both options include:
