Job summary

Archway Recruitment in Wellington Central, NZ is seeking an Accountant to deliver key month-end accounting activities and support financial reporting. You will work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure accuracy and robust controls.

The role requires proven accounting experience, advanced Excel, and experience with financial systems. This is a hands-on position with responsibilities spanning asset, revenue, journal entries and compliance work.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, this role will be responsible for delivering key month-end accounting activities and supporting a range of financial processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity and timely completion of financial reporting requirements.

This is a hands-on role that will see you working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, contributing to robust financial controls and supporting both operational and statutory reporting obligations.

Key responsibilities
