Job summary

Archway Recruitment expects a hands-on Finance professional to deliver key month-end accounting activities and support a range of financial processes in Wellington. Qualifications

• Proven accounting experience within a medium to large organisation.
• Strong month-end accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Excel capability and confidence using financial systems.
• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.

Responsibilities

• Fixed asset accounting and reconciliations.
• Revenue accounting and journal preparation.
• Bank journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Completion of pre-ledger and post-ledger close activities.
• Maintaining clear and audit-ready working papers.
• GST calculations and reporting across the group.
• Supporting financial control and compliance processes.
