Job summary

Anglican Diocese of Waiapu – Napier City, North Island is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in a full-time permanent role.

You will work with other Finance Team members on consolidated entries, treasury funding, and broad financial reporting for a Not-for-Profit organization. The role requires NZ experience and a track record of managing finance teams across multiple locations, with a focus on accurate monthly and year-end reporting.

Qualifications

• NZ experience in consolidations and treasury funding.
• Experience reviewing and processing transactions for large entities.
• Experience with investment portfolios and Not-for-Profit reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance Team on consolidated entries and multi-level consolidations.
• Oversee treasury funding, cashflows, and interactions with external advisors.
• Prepare and review monthly and year-end reports for Tier 2 consolidated Not-for-Profit entities.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our team in a full-time permanent role.

Working with other Finance Team members, this role is varied and exciting. It will provide you with the opportunity to use and grow your current broad financial skill set.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant, with New Zealand specific experience in all, or most, of the following areas:

• Working on large internal portfolios undertaking consolidated entries and multi-level consolidations


• Treasury funding including monitoring cashflows, internal transfers and working with external advisors


• Reviewing and processing a diverse range of transactions for large entities with multiple locations


• Working with large investment portfolios


• Preparing and reviewing monthly and end of year reports covering a spectrum of small special purpose reports up to Tier 2 consolidated Not for Profit reports


• Experience in management of other finance team members
