Job summary

The Creative Store in Auckland, NZ is seeking an Account Director to own the day-to-day commercial relationship for a key client. This in-house role focuses on translating client requirements into SOPs, KPIs, reporting, invoicing and mobilisation cadences.

You will be the primary salesperson for opportunities within the existing account and drive new strategic opportunities, with strong cross-functional coordination and client relationship management at multiple levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in key account management, client services, sales or commercial project delivery.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of commercially significant accounts.
• Strong client relationship skills at multiple organisational levels.

Responsibilities

Account Director The Creative Store Auckland, NZ

Our client is a sourcing partner for leading Shopper Marketing and Brand teams, helping them procure, manage, and deliver their brand assets to retail. They have an integrated model bringing together sourcing, logistics, and execution expertise to make sure every activation is delivered on brand, on time, and on budget.

They are looking for a Strategic Account Director to join their team.

This role owns the day-to-day commercial and service relationship for a key client. The role translates the client’s requirements into effective ways of working, SOPs, KPIs, reporting, invoicing and mobilisation cadences.

This role ensures the business consistently delivers on its promises, maintains accurate and proactive communication, and acts as the client’s eyes and ears within the business. They are the primary salesperson for opportunities within the existing account and focused on new and strategic opportunities.

The ideal person for this role will have proven experience in key account management, client services, sales or commercial project delivery, ideally within 3PL, shopper marketing, print, logistics, events, production or a related sector. You will have demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of commercially significant accounts and maintain strong client relationships at multiple organisational levels. Strong workflow oversight, delegation, task management and cross-functional coordination skills are a must.

This is an in-house role, based in South Auckland. They offer a car and commission.
