Middle School West Auckland is seeking an academic manager (assistant principal) to join our team. For the right applicant this could be in our Te Reo Māori bilingual classes. This is a unique opportunity for passionate educators to make a real difference in the lives of students within a supportive and innovative learning environment.

As an academic manager, you will:

  • Lead and support a group of approximately 60 students
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with families/whānau
  • Oversee staff development and appraisal
  • Manage all aspects of academic programming and delivery
  • Enjoy a reduced teaching load to focus on leadership responsibilities
  • Work within a designated Character School that values independent learning and Christian philosophy

The role can be tailored to suit the subject strengths of the successful applicant, and you will be fully supported by a strong and experienced leadership team.
