Job summary

ConsultANZ seeks 2x Robotic Cutter Operator to join a team working on underground asset maintenance and rehabilitation projects across New Zealand. You’ll operate remote-controlled cutting and CCTV technology to clear pipeline obstructions and support rehabilitation works.

Based in Auckland, this full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate and guaranteed weekly hours, with overtime paid after 44 hours. You’ll work on diverse projects, travel to sites, and contribute to safe, quality-driven

Qualifications

• Previous experience with robotic cutting, CCTV inspection, or related equipment.
• Full NZ driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic cutting systems to clear blockages and obstructions from pipelines
• Conduct CCTV surveys to identify defects and confirm completed works
• Review inspection footage and produce accurate job documentation
• Work alongside pipeline rehabilitation crews throughout project delivery
• Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Identify operational issues and assist with practical on-site solutions
• Follow company safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Travel to different project sites when required

ConsultANZ is looking for 2x Robotic Cutter Operator to join a team working on underground asset maintenance and rehabilitation projects across New Zealand. You’ll use remote-controlled cutting and CCTV technology to clear pipeline obstructions and support rehabilitation works.

• Operate robotic cutting systems to clear blockages and obstructions from pipelines
• Conduct CCTV surveys to identify defects and confirm completed works

• Work alongside pipeline rehabilitation crews throughout project delivery

• Identify operational issues and assist with practical on-site solutions

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience with robotic cutting, CCTV inspection, or related equipment
• Civil, drainage, plumbing, utilities, or pipeline experience is advantageous
• Full NZ driver licence
• Strong practical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently
• Good communication and ability to work effectively within a site team
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused approach
• Comfortable with hands-on outdoor work and travelling for projects
