Job summary

Wel Networks in New Zealand is seeking a Frame & Lens Specialist to join its patient-focused optical team. You will dispense prescriptions, assist with frame selections, and provide expert advice to help patients choose products that fit their lifestyle and needs.

Working with optometrists and staff, you will help manage appointments, maintain patient records, handle stock and displays, and contribute to achieving sales and service goals while ensuring a high standard of personalised care.

About the role:

This is far more than a retail position. You’ll be a trusted advisor, helping patients find the right frames and lenses to suit their lifestyle, prescription and personal style, delivering an exceptional level of care from the moment they walk through the door.

Working alongside the Optometrists and practice team, you’ll confidently dispense prescriptions, assist with preliminary testing, provide expert advice on frames and lenses and support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the practice.
