Job summary

Hōhepa Canterbury is seeking a passionate Support Coordinator to provide 1:1 support for Hayley at Motuhake Service in Halswell. You will help with daily routines, encourage independence, and enable participation in community activities.

You will read situations, problem solve, and apply boundaries around food security related to Prader Willi Syndrome, while assisting with personal care, cooking and medications. Training is provided, with fixed rosters and a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• NZ Driver's Licence is required and ability to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Support Hayley on a 1:1 basis to live a fulfilling and active life.
• Assist with daily routines to promote independence and personal growth.
• Provide personal cares, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks.
• Help Hayley participate in community activities and access wider services.
• Understand and apply boundaries around food security due to Prader Willi Syndrome.
