Kimbolton Kindergarten is a rural ECE service providing education and care for children from 2-5 years. We cater for the needs of rural families by opening from 8.30am until 3:00pm. Our roll of 20, means that children have lots of space to move and teachers can spend quality time working in small groups with children.

We have strong connections to our community and value incursions (visitors) and excursions out into the wider world.

Responsibilities
  • works collaboratively within a teaching team and actively engages with whānau in meaningful relationships with great communication skills
  • is responsive to implementing practices that enhance the social and emotional competence of tamariki while fostering inclusive environments for all learners
  • is experienced in evaluative practices through reviews, professional growth cycle and documentation for children's learning
  • has a strong understanding of how to implement teaching practices and a programme that is responsive Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Your total hours of work will be 50 hours per fortnight.

This position will commence in Term 4 or as negotiated.
